Lüften (LOOF- ten) is the German practice of opening up your windows to exchange stale, stagnant air with fresh outdoor air  -  refreshing your room and improving your health -- this reduces moisture, prevents mold, and boosts oxygen.  (Especially in the winter for 5-10 minutes) 
I felt it was a great singular word to summarize how I feel about cleanliness in general, and our connection to nature.
